Fourth generation Langley-ite Erin J. Easingwood started with the firm during her articles in 2005, and has practiced with the firm since her call to the bar in 2006. Ms. Easingwood has a mixed solicitor’s practice including Wills and Estates, Corporate and Commercial Law and Real Estate.
Ms. Easingwood earned her Bachelor of Arts with an Honours in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia in 2001. In 2002 Ms. Easingwood attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where she earned both a Bachelor of Civil Laws in French and a Bachelor of Laws in English in 2005.
Ms. Easingwood is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Fraser Valley Bar Association.
Embracing her return to Langley, Ms. Easingwood has become actively involved in the community. She sits as a member of the Township of Langley’s Community Heritage Commission and the Commission’s sub-committee, the Douglas Day Committee. Ms. Easingwood also chaired the Langley BC-150 Committee, created as a community committee in Langley to make recommendations to both the Township and City councils with respect to community celebrations for the 150 th anniversary since the creation of the Crown Colony of British Columbia. Ms. Easingwood is a director of the Board of the Langley Spirit of BC Committee, and a member of Langley’s Chamber of Commerce.
When not busy in the office, Ms. Easingwood can be found pursuing her many interests from skiing, hiking, running, reading and spending time with friends and family, to participating in living history events portraying the lifestyles of those living in the 1840's.
